Cerritos College will host its Fourth Annual Woodworking Celebration on Saturday, May well 22 from 11 am to three pm within the parking great deal in front in the WMT building.

Guests that attend the event are going to be in a position to get pleasure from a lunch, view the project exhibit and meet the community of woodworkers.

Anthony Fortner, woodworking professor, stated, “We showcase our students’ operate due to the fact we wish to display their energy and excitement.”

At the event, there is going to be outside expert woodworkers to judge the projects into different classes.

The judges will judge into 3 groups: furniture, cabinetry and accessories, just like turn bowls and jewelry boxes.

President with the Cerritos College Student Association of Woodworkers, Marci Crestani, stated, “We catch the spirit from the woodworking community.

“We have several items to display from beginning to really superior.”

Apart from the showcase and lunch, the celebration will also have a dunk tank and raffles.

“We definitely welcome folks to verify it out,” Crestani added.
